👩‍💻 About the Role

We’re on the hunt for a QA Engineer who’s not just passionate about testing—but about breaking things with purpose. You’ll be key in ensuring every release meets the highest quality standards through rigorous manual and automated testing.

This role is more than just writing test cases—it’s about shaping the QA culture, championing process improvements, and being an essential part of a high-performing Agile development team. You’ll report directly to the Head of Engineering and collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product teams.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the testing process from start to finish for every release
• Design, write, and maintain both manual and automated test scenarios (Cypress preferred)
• Identify, track, and prioritize bugs with precision and clarity
• Maintain a living manual test repository and ensure non-automated areas are thoroughly covered
• Work in lockstep with Agile Scrum teams to ensure seamless QA integration
• Help improve QA, support, and release pipelines—your ideas matter here
• Sign off on production releases, ensuring stability and confidence across the board

✅ What You Bring to the Table

• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in Agile development teams
• Solid skills in test automation with Cypress
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, and CI/CD build pipelines
• Sharp eye for exploratory testing and a mindset to "think like a user"
• Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
• BSc in Computer Science or a related technical field

⭐ Bonus Points For

• Experience with TestRail or similar test case management tools
• Knowledge of Selenium RC (Python or JavaScript)
• Familiarity with the full Python development stack
• ISEB/ISTQB certification
• Background in release/change/configuration management
