• 5+ years experience developing in QA/testing within the consumer product space or financial services space
• Strong Python skills for scripting
• Strong sql skills

• Has been in environment around mortgage underwriting

Day to Day

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Test Developer with over 5 years of testing expertise, specifically within consumer product lending or consumer services. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Python and SQL, with a demonstrated ability to design, develop, and execute both automated and manual test cases to validate complex financial systems.

In this role, you will take ownership of creating comprehensive test plans and scripts from the ground up, which will then be handed over to the testing team for execution. The testing team is responsible for verifying the systems and applications used during loan review processes. An underwriting background or familiarity with loan approval workflows would be advantageous, as it will help in understanding the nuances of the systems being tested.
