Position Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Type: Full-time | Base + Bonus Opportunity

We’re working with a fast-scaling, global tech company headquartered in the D.C. metro area that’s building biometric and identity verification systems to support mission-critical applications around the world. Their solutions are actively deployed across multiple government environments, helping to modernize infrastructure and improve national security outcomes.

As part of a broader engineering transformation, the team is investing in QA automation and test infrastructure to improve quality, delivery speed, and systems reliability. This role offers both technical depth and team leadership opportunity as you shape testing standards and mentor junior QA engineers.

What You’ll Do

• Design and execute automated testing for complex systems deployed in regulated environments
• Own test plans and lead test case creation in TFS/Azure DevOps
• Contribute to testing strategy, requirements reviews, and automation architecture
• Train and mentor junior QA team members on test development
• Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps engineers to integrate CI/CD
• Support testing across services and UIs in biometric/identity-based applications

What You Bring

• Strong automation experience with tools like Selenium, Ranorex, NUnit, or SonarQube
• Solid background in QA for full SDLC projects (requirements, test, deploy)
• Familiarity with TFS/Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
• Scripting or coding background (JavaScript or Python preferred)
• Experience in secure, cloud-based environments (AWS or Azure a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
