Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
• Utilize automation frameworks like Concordion (TDD) and Gherkin-Cucumber (BDD).
• Perform API testing using tools like Rest-Assured or JMeter.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.
• Write clear and concise bug reports with detailed steps to reproduce.
• Perform SQL queries to validate data integrity.
• Contribute to performance testing and security testing efforts (if required).
• Maintain and organize test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest QA trends and technologies.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• 5-7 years of hands-on QA experience.
• Practical experience in automation testing and coding skills in at least one language (Core Java/Python/JavaScript).
• Practical knowledge of at least one UI automation tool (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
• Proficient in API testing with any automation tool (Rest-Assured, JMeter, etc.
• Strong SQL experience with various databases.
• Practical experience with automation frameworks like Concordion (TDD) and Gherkin-Cucumber (BDD).
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a global team.
• Self-motivated and a strong problem solver.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
  
  

Desired Skills

• Working knowledge of Unix/Shell Scripting.
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
