The Role

This is a full-time, remote position working as a QA Automation Engineer.

You’ll join a collaborative engineering org focused on weekly releases, user-first design, and scalable automation. Our QE team is small but mighty, and we’re now looking for a mid-level engineer to help us evolve our mobile and web automation frameworks while maintaining our high quality standards across our products.

This role is for someone who doesn’t just spot bugs but helps build systems to prevent them. If you enjoy thinking through edge cases, contributing to platform testing strategies, and helping developers ship confidently, we’d love to meet you.

This role is located in Prague, Czech Republic area.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to understand new features and identify test needs early in the SDLC.
• Build and maintain automated test coverage for both web and native mobile apps (iOS & Android), using tools like Cypress and Appium.
• Write and document test plans for complex game logic and contest mechanics.
• Support release processes by validating builds, running regression/exploratory tests, and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Investigate bugs reported internally or by users, verify fixes, and ensure regressions don’t occur.
• Monitor production issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and improve testing and alerting coverage.
• Advocate for quality by contributing to process improvements, tooling upgrades, and automation coverage metrics.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Quality Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript-based testing tools (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
• Comfort working with API-level testing (Postman, supertest, etc.) and mocking strategies
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and always thinking about edge cases
• Strong communicator who thrives in async-first, remote-only teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Experience with test data management and time-based testing (e.g. simulating future app states)
• Experience with mobile test automation (Appium, Detox)
• Interest in fantasy sports or gaming (but not required!)
