Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Test Automation Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic QA team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our customers’ products. You’ll leverage tools like Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and document findings.
• Enhance and refine test automation frameworks.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and practices in test automation.
• Perform manual testing when needed to validate functionality and performance.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability of requirements.
• Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios and cases using diverse methodologies.

Required Skills

• Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer/Electronics/Electrical), MCA, or MS.
• Experience: 2-5 years in Test Automation and Quality Engineering.
• Proficiency with Selenium and Appium for UI testing on web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of Selenium/Appium Architecture, Page Object Model, and Page Factory Design.
• Familiarity with tools like TFS, GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Java, including OOPS concepts, exception handling, and collection frameworks.
• Experience with databases (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and API testing using Rest Assured.
• Basic knowledge of BDD concepts with Cucumber.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.

What Will Set You Apart

• Certifications: ISTQB Foundation/Expert Level, Scrum Master Certification.
• Experience in the Energy & Utilities domain (Electric, Solar, Gas, Water services).
• Advanced API testing skills using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger.
• Understanding of database integrations and advanced SQL concepts.
• Strategic thinking with a customer-first approach.
• Quick adaptability to new technologies and platforms.
