Our Customer is one of the world's largest investment management companies. Based in Southern California, our client manages close to $2 trillion in assets and is looking for a new partner to participate in a full-scale upgrade of their technology. We are looking for talented and ambitious people to work on the engagement in the client's offices near Los Angeles, California.

The project involves development of a tool that automates portfolio construction and presentation process for the clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develops automation test approaches and plans for complex integrated systems

• Implements non-UI-based automation techniques and practices that utilize service and messaging layers of the applications under test

• Designs and develops code adhering to test case design standards to test APIs, services, and interfaces

• Designs and develops tools to increase QM productivity

• Participates in technical design sessions to understand and influence the design and decisions based on automation needs

• Applies critical thinking and root cause analysis techniques to solve problems

• Evaluates and recommend automation tools and approaches

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 3-5+ years of experience in Java testing automation

• Experience in development of automation frameworks or complex testing harnesses is highly desirable

• Extensive experience with SQL

• Strong Selenium experience

• BDD/Gherkin knowledge

• Jenkins

• Knowledge of REST API, web services and related technologies
