Summary

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure application compliance with quality standards.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Perform automation testing with tools like Cypress to streamline quality processes.
  • Execute API testing using Postman to verify integrations and endpoints.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs or issues using tools like Jira.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and ensure the application meets user expectations.
  • Conduct regression testing to validate resolved bugs and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Continuously improve QA methodologies and tools to optimize testing processes.

Some Key Qualifications

  • Experience with manual testing and bug-tracking tools.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum framework.
  • Demonstrated passion for quality assurance and continuous process improvement.
  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Cypress and Selenium for UI automation and Postman for API testing.
  • Familiarity with issue-tracking tools like Jira.
  • Experience with collaboration tools like Confluence.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of poker (any variant).
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools.
