Job Summary:

Techies Infotech is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software QA, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment focused on delivering robust, high-quality web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on web and/or mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly using industry-standard tools.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and help drive QA best practices across teams.
• Maintain clear documentation of test cases, execution results, and QA metrics.
• Utilize tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, and Postman for test management and automation.
• Conduct REST API testing and perform backend validations using SQL queries.
• Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman.
• Solid knowledge of basic SQL for data validation and testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Hands-on experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Python, or Java).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, etc.
• Knowledge of mobile application testing (Android/iOS).
