Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Analyst/Manager to join our manufacturing team in the Horsham Area, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining and enhancing the organization's ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System while ensuring the consistent delivery of top-notch products. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve the ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Lead internal and external audits, including customer and registrar audits, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to standards.
- Oversee corrective actions and nonconformance reporting, utilizing root cause analysis to resolve quality-related issues effectively.
- Maintain document control processes in alignment with ISO 9001 standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership teams to address quality concerns and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor and report quality metrics, presenting data-driven insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Address customer concerns related to quality, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in ISO 9001 implementation, maintenance, and audit processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including expertise in methods such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone analysis.
- Excellent organizational abilities paired with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Capability to work independently while fostering collaboration across departments.
- Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualifications (preferred but not required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
