Safety Investigation Part is one of the four teams within the Pack DA Team, specializing in battery analysis following thermal events.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics of customer returns - identifying and determining the causes of defects (batteries and electronic components level);
• Developing and implementing analysis methods that are investigative and diagnostic tests using non-destructive techniques and destructive techniques (disassembly of components and packs);
• Identification and analysis of safety-related battery defects
• Determining and analyzing the root causes of defects through on-site examination and verification, interpretation of collected data and determination of further analysis steps;
• Supervising the timeliness of analyzes performed and verifying their correctness;
• Preparation of analysis reports in accordance with client/HQ requirements and in accordance with internal guidelines and standards for timely reporting;
• Presenting the results of investigations to the client or other sites;
• Creating and updating technical and process documentation;
• Maintaining databases and preparing daily/weekly reports and summaries;

Qualifications

• Higher education (preferred connected with the work scope), specialization: Quality, Electronics, Chemistry or other related (research and analysis) - not a necessary condition;
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in the use of measuring devices (multimeter, insulation tester, caliper, CAN bus);
• Fluent knowledge of English in speech and writing;
• Fluent knowledge of Polish language (min. C1 level)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Power Point);
• Ability to work in a team, communication skills, conflict resolution skills, inquisitiveness and striving to skillfully solve problems;
• Experience in the area of research and analysis related to safety issues
• Readiness for business trips and on-site operational activities to determine the cause of the problem and establish responsibility for the defect;
• Great independence;
• Creativity;
• Valid category B driving license
