As we scale our technology team, we are looking for a Backend Engineer to build and optimize high-performance services.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of our fintech applications. You will play a key role in testing AI-driven financial platforms, ensuring data integrity, and validating complex business logic. This role requires a strong understanding of fintech data, transaction flows, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications and backend services.
• Validate financial transactions, data accuracy, and consistency across MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools to ensure seamless data flow.
• Automate regression and functional tests using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure scalability and responsiveness under high transaction volumes.
• Ensure compliance with SAMA, UAE Central Bank, and global fintech regulations.
• Implement data validation frameworks to detect anomalies in financial transactions.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and compliance teams to resolve defects and improve system reliability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test strategies, cases, and results.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in software testing, quality assurance, or fintech applications testing.
• Fintech Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial data structures, transactions, and risk assessment.
• Automation Testing: Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Jest.
• API Testing: Proficiency with Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Database Testing: Experience validating data integrity in MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Security & Compliance: Understanding of fintech security best practices and data protection regulations.
• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS/GCP and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills.
