What You'll Do

This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented and technically strong QA Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications and services to Nisum clients. The role will focus heavily on automated testing using Java and Selenium, as well as API and integration testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.

Quality Assurance & Automation

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, scripts, and plans for web and API testing.
• Implement and enhance test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure application reliability and compliance with requirements.
• Perform integration and regression testing across services and systems.
  
  

Collaboration & Issue Resolution

• Work closely with development teams to identify and troubleshoot defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to align QA efforts with development cycles.
• Support the release process through thorough validation and bug tracking.
  
  

Process Improvement & CI/CD Integration

• Utilize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred) for continuous testing and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and improve overall product quality.
  
  

What You Know

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Hands-on expertise with Java and Selenium.
• Strong experience with API testing tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit and Cucumber.
• Solid understanding of SQL for database validation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Working knowledge of test management tools like JIRA and TestRail.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of microservices testing strategies.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
