Summary

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated broker, found in Australia, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Quality Assurance Engineer in Cyprus office - a certified Great Place to Work®. 

This role is essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of FP Markets' web, mobile, and backend products, ultimately contributing to a seamless customer experience. Your expertise in Quality Assurance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will play a vital role in maintaining the company's reputation, driving success, and fostering client trust.

Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Functional and performance testing of web, mobile frontend and backend products with maximum automation to ensure quality meets specifications and documentation
  • Ownership of the customer journey from start to finish
  • Coordination and management of quality control across all languages
  • Interaction with the development and support teams in order to improve product quality
  • Reviews of new and existing features, tests done by other team members, bugs and features verification and regression tests automation
  • Work collaboratively with the IT team and other departments to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate manual testing activities
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

Candidate profile:

  • Experience as a Quality Assurance Manual Tester (at least one year)
  • Experience with different testing environments (desktop/mobile/APIs)
  • Experience with software QA tools and project tracking software is considered a strong asset
  • Experience using version control systems (ex: Git) would be considered an asset
  • Strong desire for self-improvement, development, and progress
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Teamwork recognition and the ability to collaborate
  • Proven track record in previous roles
  • Driven and results-orientated
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
