Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and carry out test strategies, including test cases and scripts, for applications built with Angular (frontend) and Laravel (backend).
• Perform various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, performance, and security assessments.
• Log, track, and report software bugs while working alongside developers to resolve them.
• Partner with the engineering team to analyze root causes and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions using frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, PHPUnit, or comparable tools.
• Conduct API testing with tools like Postman or similar platforms.
• Participate in code reviews to evaluate test coverage and offer feedback on testability.
• Work with DevOps to embed testing into the CI/CD workflow.
• Contribute to the refinement of QA standards, procedures, and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the English language.
• At least 3 years of experience working as a QA Engineer or in a related QA role.
• Solid grasp of testing principles, techniques, and industry-standard tools.
• Direct experience testing Angular-based applications, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Practical knowledge of Laravel testing, encompassing PHPUnit and RESTful API validation.
• Skilled in using test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Jest, PHPUnit, or Postman.
• Familiar with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions.
• Experience in database testing (PostgreSQL, MySQL) with proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communicator and team player in an agile software development environment.
