QA Automation Tester

Location: Plano, TX (On-site)

Overview:

This role focuses on automating the testing of web-based applications and APIs, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
• Proven expertise in test automation using tools like Selenium
• Extensive experience in API automation testing
• Proficiency with web automation and browser compatibility testing
• Solid experience with automation frameworks
• Familiarity with database management and querying
• Working knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) – preferred
• Automotive domain experience – a plus

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define test strategies and build comprehensive test plans
• Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and reporting
• Identify, track, and report bugs and issues, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution
• Assist in integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
