We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Automation UI QA Software Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test automation frameworks and scripts for Guidewire applications' user interfaces (UI). This role requires a strong understanding of Guidewire applications, UI testing principles, and test automation best practices. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks specifically tailored for Guidewire applications' UI testing.
• Analyze application requirements and user stories to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria for UI testing.
• Implement reusable automation components, libraries, and utilities to streamline test automation efforts and enhance test coverage.
• Develop automated BDD test scripts in GT UI & API automation framework to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of Guidewire applications' UI components.
• Implement data-driven and parameterized test scripts to support various test scenarios and configurations.
• Gain a deep understanding of Guidewire applications, including Policy Center, Claim Center, and Billing Center, to effectively design and execute UI test automation strategies.
• Execute automated test suites to validate UI changes, new features, and enhancements in Guidewire applications.
• Monitor test execution, analyze test results, and report defects and issues using issue tracking systems.
• Develop and maintain automated regression test suites to ensure that changes and enhancements to Guidewire applications do not introduce regressions or defects.
• Execute regression tests on a regular basis and monitor the stability and reliability of the applications' UI components.
• Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
  
  

Requirements

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles, with a focus on UI testing and test automation.
• Strong understanding of Guidewire applications, including Policy Center, Claim Center, and Billing Center.
• Deep knowledge and work experience in Guidewire Testing (GT) UI & API automation framework
• Have good knowledge and experience in JavaScript, TypeScript and TestCafe.
• Should be good in creating BDD scripts, Feature file and Step definition.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Groovy, JavaScript & TypeScript for test automation script development.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git for code management and collaboration.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance, including both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Solid knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Rally or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen diligence.
• Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.

• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Guidewire, Selenium or Agile certifications are desirable.
