Key Responsibilities:

Lead QA Automation

• Oversee the development and maintenance of automated self-service testing frameworks, ensuring that they are scalable and adaptable to team needs.Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines and adopted across squads.
• Continuously improve test automation efficiency, coverage, and ensure best practices are followed.

Drive QA Strategy

• Develop and implement QA strategies for the Comply division and across the wider group, with a focus on automation, scalability, and adaptability.
• Standardize testing processes, including regression, performance, and security testing.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the QA process and implement initiatives to enhance QA metrics and quality assurance.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and lead QA Automation Engineers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Provide technical guidance and support for resolving complex automation challenges.
• Promote growth and development of the QA Engineers, identifying skill development opportunities and driving learning initiatives.

Squad Enablement

• Enable squad members by providing training, coaching, and best practices for software testing within a product-focused organization.
• Develop and deliver e-learning materials, technical documentation, and hands-on training sessions to enhance squad members' testing capabilities.
• Establish a culture of quality across teams, ensuring that squad members are equipped to implement testing best practices autonomously.

Collaboration Across Teams

• Partner with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to align QA efforts with product goals and development timelines.
• Define clear acceptance criteria with Product Owners, ensuring testing standards and quality objectives are met.
• Advocate for quality-first principles in sprint planning and product design discussions, promoting efficient and scalable testing solutions.

Reporting and Optimization

• Track and monitor key QA metrics (e.g., test coverage, defect rates) and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
• Continuously optimize the testing infrastructure to ensure test suites are reliable, scalable, and deliver high-quality results.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and technologies to keep pace with evolving product needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise in QA automation and building automated test frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python.Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and how efficient QA automation fits into an Agile SDLC, ensuring rapid delivery with high-quality results.
• Familiarity with platform engineering principles and how to leverage them to drive automation across development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and manage QA Engineers.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Passion for quality and continuous improvement in QA practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of QA experience with a focus on test automation and 3+ years of people leadership experience managing a team of QA or test automation engineers
