Jon Title: QA Analyst Contract Duration: 1+ year (Extension possible) Pay range: C$40 - 45/hr Location: Toronto, ON Work Type: Hybrid, 2 days on site currently, Monday and Thursday
Summary of day-to-day Responsibilities:
Managing multiple projects.
Write SQL queries
Testing, data quality
Interaction among stakeholders at different levels.
Job Requirements:
QA Analyst must be able to define Automation Strategies that will verify the operation of new services or products while tracking to the project schedule, 5-7 years of experience
Proficient in SQL, SAS, and VBA, and demonstrates hands-on experience in analytics
Lead complex projects independently and successfully deliver on requirements, testing, testing artifacts, and obtain signoffs
Expert knowledge of AML transaction monitoring & customer risk rating -Asset
Ability to perform deep dive investigations and drive recommendations/findings
Support, mentor, and provide guidance to junior-level Business Analysts and peers
Strong ownership mentality and can-do attitude
Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills accompanied by strong business acumen, with the ability to engage senior audiences
Strong interpersonal skills, able to influence and manage a very diverse set of stakeholders
Flexible and resilient to execute in an agile environment, including the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
Acute attention to detail while moving at a fast pace
Demonstrate analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
High proficiency in MS Office: Excel (including pivot tables, charts, and graphics) and PowerPoint
Proficiency in Selenium, or other automation tools, is an asset
Strong attention to detail
Must-Haves:
SQL (writing/creating queries) - must be able to create queries
Major Banking experience
IT QA background
Test automation experience, able to deep dive into investigations.
Strong presentation skills
