You will:

• Support different phases of the product lifecycle including analysis, architecture design, development and testing
• The role requires good collaboration with members from the wider, global team, as well as neighbouring systems and business users
• Contribute to implementing our data strategy by creating data pipelines in Python
• Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Work on Morgan Stanley’s one-stop solution for test automation including the feature-rich framework and its services

You have:

• Bachelor or higher degree in a STEM field and at least 3 years of experience in Python
• Proficiency in developing enterprise-grade python backend applications
• Fluent English – written and spoken
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to deliver high-quality software working in teams
• Experience with agile and dev-ops principles
• Interest to work with financial products

You might also have:

• Existing knowledge of financial markets and products
• Perl knowledge is a plus
• SQL knowledge and Data Engineering expertise and interest are plus
• Web and JavaScript/TypeScript development an advantage but not essential
