Summary

About the organisation:

To strengthen the team, this small and informal organization is looking for a Python developer with a strong sense for UX/UI design. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced developers on a complex, in-house software product, all within a close-knit and motivated team.

This company develops powerful and user-friendly SaaS solutions for lawyers and legal professionals. They currently support over 250 clients across Europe and beyond. The team consists of 25 colleagues across development, support, and consultancy — including a small team in Poland and one colleague in Sweden who supports onboarding locally. There are no rigid departments: everyone works full stack and contributes to the overall product.

The company culture is open and built on trust. They measure output, not hours. You can start your day anytime between 7:00 and 10:00 AM. There's plenty of flexibility for breaks, deep work, or handling personal matters — as long as the work gets done.

About the Role

You’ll be working in a multidisciplinary team consisting of a lead developer, one senior, and five medior developers, along with three colleagues based in Poland. You'll contribute to the further development of the proprietary software platform, applying your UX/UI instincts to create intuitive and effective solutions. You care about quality, can anticipate risks, and always consider the end user in your approach.

The team is independent and highly professional. There is a short daily stand-up (10:00 AM), regular pair-programming sessions, and a mature development process — all code is reviewed before going live.

Tech Stack

Backend: Python, Django, MySQL, Linux

Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React

Your Profile

  • Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO or WO equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a software developer
  • Solid knowledge of Python (Django experience is a plus)
  • Strong affinity with UX/UI design
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to keep a clear overview
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English

What They Offer

A work environment where you can grow just as fast as the company — technically, professionally, and personally. No rigid 9-to-5 culture, but flexibility, trust, and a healthy work-life balance.

  • Salary range: €4,000 – €5,500 gross per month (depending on experience)
  • Company laptop
  • Travel expense reimbursement
  • Flexible working hours
  • Nearly fully remote work possible
  • 25 vacation days
  • 8% holiday pay
  • Temporary contract with a view to permanent
  • Monthly team outings and drinks
