Role & Project: Working on Python large repositories, solving github Issues on open source python scientific libraries (ex. Pandas, Numpy) and potentially private repositories

Candidate Requirements

• Advanced Python skills + software engineering experience: Ideally more than one or two years of full-time experience; smart college seniors or advanced college students are acceptable since they should be capable of quickly picking up necessary libraries
• High Docker Proficiency: Candidates need to be very good at Dockerspecifically in debugging Dockerfiles. no requirement for Kubernetes expertise.
• Soft skills good to have: Patience, honesty, reliability
  
  

Contract Details

• Duration: Around one-month contract (depends on project timeline, current estimate is around 1 month)
• Hours: Full-time is preferred, but part-time (four to five hours per day or more) is acceptable.
• Performance Metrics: Developers will be expected to resolve a certain number of issues and submit PRs per day (with the specific targets to be defined) and there will be Bonus structure for doing more while maintaining quality
