Role Overview: We are seeking talented Python Engineers to join our dynamic team in London. As a Python Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing our portfolio management infrastructure. You will utilize your expertise in portfolio optimization domain knowledge to drive strategic initiatives and enhance our trading strategies. Experience in trading firms is essential, with a focus on developing robust infrastructure for simulation, optimization, and transaction cost modeling.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python-based infrastructure for portfolio optimization and simulation.
  • Implement custom execution algorithms and trade targeting strategies to optimize trading performance.
  • Build and refine transaction cost models to minimize market impact and enhance profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies into trading strategies.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance software systems.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years Python programming.
  • Demonstrated experience in portfolio optimization domain knowledge.
  • Knowledge of trade targeting and adaptive trading strategies.
  • Experience implementing custom execution algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of simulation, optimization, and transaction cost modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
