Job Description

Purpose of the Job/ Role:

• The developer is expected to work on multiple projects driving user story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing, and builds automation tools and architects Big Data analytics framework.
  
  

Key Requisites

• Expertise in Data structures and algorithms
• Understanding project requirements as provided in the Design Documents and develop the application modules to meet the requirements
• Work with developers and architects, to ensure bug-free and timely delivery
• Following coding best practices and guidelines
• Support live systems with enhancements, maintenance and/or bug fixes
• Conducting unit testing / implementing unit test cases
• Should be a PASSIONATE about work and delivering quality results
• Strong programming and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of OOPs, Python and Django
• Knowledge of AWS serverless stack (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, S3) would be a value add
• Knowledge of REST/JSON APIs and/or SOAP/XML webservices
• Experience with Github and advanced Github features (good to have)

Skills/ Competencies Required

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise (9 or more out of 10) in at least one modern programming language, like Python, Java
• Clear end-to-end experience in designing, programming, implementing large software systems
• Passion and analytical abilities to solve complex problems

• Always speaking your mind freely
• Communicating ideas clearly in talking and writing, integrity to never copy or plagiarize intellectual property of others
• Exercising discretion and independent judgment where needed in performing duties; not needing micro-management, maintaining high professional standards
  
  

Academic Qualifications & Experience Required

Required Educational Qualification & Relevant experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline from a well-known institute.
• Minimum 2 - 5 years of work experience as a developer in an IT organization (preferably Analytics / Big Data/ Data Science / AI background).
