As a Python Engineer, you will modernize the infrastructure asset management system. You will collaborate with teams to drive architecture and quality, and make sure we are building the right things for our users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be part of a team building architectures which are robust, fault-tolerant, and scalable. Build solutions for problems of sizeable scope and complexity.
• Modernize the infrastructure asset management system using Python, e.g., take the system from Python 2.7 to Python 3.x (likely Python 3.11).
• Influence and drive software engineering best practices within the team.
• Participate in developing technical approaches, and new/enhanced technical tools.
• Utilize an Agile methodology.
• Identify opportunities to improve the system/product/services with each iteration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS / QUALITIES WE LOOK FOR:

• Python (preferably from 2.7 thru 3.x)
• Orchestration/Containerization – Docker, Kubernetes
• MongoDB
