Python Developer - Dublin

My client has an opening for a Senior Python Developer to work on their next generation of their SAAS enterprise software. We’re looking for people that are excited to help build an infrastructure that translates into a positive experience for customers of any size.

The person will be expected to perform and have a positive impact on a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Provide subject matter expertise in terms of Python best coding practices and optimisation
• Ensure data collection is complete and accurate at all times
• Ensure failures are minimised and corrected efficiently and timely
• Work with global based team and comfortable with slack, zoom pair programming remotely

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain Python applications and services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions.
• Design scalable and secure backend services and APIs.
• Refactor and optimize existing code for performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop automated tests and tools for code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements:

• 4/5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Expertise in Python and web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Experience with RESTful API design and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experienece in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency in Git, Agile methodologies, and unit testing.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with data analysis libraries and machine learning frameworks.
