Role Description

We are seeking a Python with strong expertise in Python to develop high-performance, scalable, and secure applications. This role requires deep experience in backend development, system design, and working with modern software architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience 
• 5+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment 
• You are a self-starter but very comfortable working closely with a team 
• You are comfortable working with stakeholders outside the Engineering team including our Product, Sales and Account Management teams 
• You have strong expertise with the following: 
• Python / Webframeworks 
• SQL / MySQL / Postgres 
• RDBMS and database design 
• AWS - EC2 / RDS / S3 / SQS 
• Unit/Functional Testing 
• Linux/UNIX 
• Implementing and building APIs 

• BIG PLUS IF YOU HAVE: 
• Python/MySQL Experience 
• SQL Performance tuning 
• Microservice architectures 
• Kafka / Celery / Flask / Django / Supervisord / MongoDB 
• Dev-ops experience 
• Jira / Clubhouse.io or other project management tool 
• Payment systems experience 
• Websockets experience
