About the Role:
As a Senior Automation Developer within the Intelligent Automation (IA) team, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing automated solutions for the Citco Group. You will collaborate closely with process owners and business unit representatives to streamline and digitize operational processes, thereby driving significant efficiency and cost savings for Citco.
About Intelligent Automation Team
Intelligent Automation (IA) is a multidisciplinary team within the Transformation Office (TO), tasked with identifying, developing, and deploying automated solutions by leveraging a variety of emerging technologies. These technologies encompass Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Test Automation, Business Process Management, APIs, and Cloud Services.
Job Duties in Brief:
Analyze and understand business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and software documentation.
Assess candidate business processes for transformation and/or automation opportunities.
Collaborate with business SMEs and technical teams to brainstorm and evaluate solution feasibility.
Develop and review solution design documents, clearly articulating current and future states.
Document and communicate anticipated business outcomes and benefits from proposed solutions.
Participate in all phases of the project life cycle, including scoping, analysis, solution development, deliverable review, and implementation.
Develop reusable components/shared services.
Suggest technical best practices for the team to implement.
Work with Process Owners and Business Leads to deploy completed solutions to targeted teams/offices.
Participate in product backlog maintenance and grooming sessions.
Engage in daily scrum stand-up meetings, backlog grooming sessions, review sessions, and retrospective meetings.
Perform weekend testing for releases (new functionality, bug fixes, enhancements, upgrades), typically scheduled once or twice per quarter.

About You:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Exceptional communications skills, both written and oral
Ability to work independently
Designs, evaluates, and monitors key metrics with business partner
3+ years of experience in developing solutions using RPA technologies such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Power Automate.
Associate level technical certification in RPA technology
Proficient in one or more programming languages such as in Python/VB.NET/C#
Able to efficiently develop and maintain scripts and queries to import, clean, transform, and augment large volumes of structured and unstructured data
Proficient using cloud infrastructure
Proficient using source code control systems
Proficient using APIs
Assets:
Knowledge of financial products and hedge fund administration
Agile project management proficiency
Strong analytical skills for business requirements and clear documentation
Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, design docs, and process flows
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Experience with automated testing
