Description

The Annotation Ops team is looking for a process and data engineer to set up datasets and annotation jobs. The ideal candidate is analytical, works quickly and efficiently, and is a flexible thinker who is able to solve dynamic problems

Responsibilities Include

Configuring datasets and jobs for annotation

Setting up and running scripts for pre or post processing

Experience Working With Python, Java, And Other Coding Languages.

Should be able to read, write, and edit code in Python and Java.

Testing out new workflows for incoming projects

Provide feedback on process and tools

Create, assign and track QA jobs and draft QA reports

Create and update process documentation as needed

Own the daily / weekly triage of incoming tasks that are routed to the team and work with management to define prioritization

Provide a weekly status update to all cross-functional partners with status, risks, and open items

The candidate must work well in collaborative environments and should be organized and comfortable managing competing priorities and timelines. The candidate should possess solid business acumen, be detail oriented, and have a strong process / technical background. This candidate will be responsible for delivering tasks involved in the data setup and maintenance of annotation jobs, and therefore must be able to manage their time effectively, understand priorities, and proactively communicate status, risks, and questions to management team

We will need someone with experience working with python, java, and other coding languages. They should be able to read, write, and edit code in Python, Java

Hit the ground running on coding (Java, Python, Jupyter notebooks)

Write and customize scripts

Program that requires on-going data processing (day to day)

Automate work as much as possible (API’s for data pipeline and automation)

Soft-skills are important (interact with customer teams)

Work with ML engineers

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
