AI4BD was founded in Switzerland and has subsidiaries in Germany (Furtwangen, Dresden) and Turkey. The company builds a Cognitive Business Robotics (CBR) platform in order to assist SMEs to reach their digitalization goals efficiently. Therefore, AI4BD offers different solutions, called Coworkers, to solve dedicated business needs based on state-of-the-art Machine Learning, Semantic Web, general web and DevOps technologies. In contrast to other competitors project-driven approaches, the coworkers are easily deployable, configurable and usable with little set-up costs. For our main development team in Dresden, we are looking for a (Senior) Python Developer: Tasks / Responsibilities • Designing and developing web services, frameworks and libraries for data managing & machine learning tasks. Contribution to all phases of the development lifecycle. Writing clean, maintainable and efficient code by following best practices. Driving continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies. Required Skills • Passion to develop testable and maintainable software. Experience in agile software development. Fluent in Python 3 and its ecosystem, you must have used Python professionally for at least the last 3 years. Good knowledge of backend technologies on the web, such as REST, Web Server Knowledge in software testing and desire to write tests and continuously increase test coverage. Desirable knowledge: Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Git. Initiative, curiosity and interest in new technological challenges, motivation and team spirit as well as enjoyment in dealing with complex topics. Good English skills, verbal as well as written.
