Python Data Engineer - Houston - Energy Trading - $150k

RJC is working a Python Data Engineer role for a global energy trading company based in Houston. Working as part of the Data Analytics team within the Front Office, they are looking for a developer to assist in the creation of a data platform to feed live market data to commodity trading desks.

The role demands expertise in energy market data, developing infrastructural components, and implementing backend technology for commodities analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining data pipelines
• Ensure data is robust and manage its integration
• Collaborate and understand requirements from stakeholders such as traders, software engineers and analysts

the ideal candidate:

• Minimum 5+ years Python development experience
• Worked with Cloud platforms tools such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory
• Proficient in SQL, python and data processing frameworks
• US Citizen or Green card holder

The Role:

• 4 days a week in Central Houston office
• Salary up to $150,000
