Job Description
- Build and maintain Python-based workflows for financial data collection, transformation, and automation
- Develop internal dashboards and tools for auditing, income tracking, and reporting
- Work closely with Treasury and Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data solutions
- Integrate APIs and automate data flows across internal systems
- Participate in design discussions and cross-functional collaboration
What this role is not
To avoid confusion:
- This is not a Machine Learning or AI engineering position
- This is not a web/backend application development role
- This role does not involve building customer-facing features or products
- The focus is entirely on internal data tooling for finance, treasury, and analytics teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of Python experience in a data-heavy or financial environment
- Strong experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or BigQuery
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs (retrieving and pushing data)
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to data accuracy
- Affinity with financial systems, trading, or treasury processes is a strong plus
- This is a hybrid position, with a minimum of 3 days per week required on-site at our Amsterdam-area office (Schiphol-Rijk)
