We are looking for a self-driven and skilled Python Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently kickstarting projects from scratch using Flask, Serverless(Lambda) Framework, FastAPI, or Django, and have strong hands-on experience with MongoDB (self-hosted, DocumentDB, and Mongo Atlas). A working knowledge of Golang and AWS Lambda is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Build and manage APIs and microservices with a strong focus on performance and reliability.
• Integrate and optimize MongoDB queries and schema for real-time and batch data use-cases.
• Own and drive projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Ensure best practices in code structure, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize and deploy applications (Docker, ECS, Lambda, etc.).
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of strong experience with Python and frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, and Django.
• Proficiency in MongoDB (self-hosted, DocumentDB, and Mongo Atlas), including aggregation pipelines and performance tuning.
• Ability to take complete ownership of a project, from concept to deployment.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and backend architecture.
• Familiar with software engineering best practices: Git, unit testing, logging, error handling, etc.
• Basic experience with Golang and AWS Lambda is a plus.
• Exposure to containerization and deployment workflows using Docker and cloud services (AWS).
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of event-driven systems and message queues (Kafka, SNS/SQS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.).
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL-based databases is a bonus.
