Title: Python AWS Engineer

We're looking for a seasoned Software Engineer with deep expertise in Python and AWS to design and build scalable, high-performance applications. You'll play a lead role in technical projects, mentor junior developers, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, well-architected solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Python.

• Lead development efforts and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define technical solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Participate in code reviews and share feedback to improve overall code quality.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in production.

• Document system architecture and key decisions.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and advocate for best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and its ecosystem.

• Hands-on experience with core AWS services, including:

  • EC2, S3, Lambda

  • RDS, DynamoDB

  • API Gateway, CloudWatch

• Solid understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles.

• Experience with microservices design and implementation.

• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer).

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Contributions to open-source projects.

• Experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
