Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Python AWS Developer to join an agile team in Malvern, PA, on a long-term W2 contract. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS cloud development using Python and a track record of designing and deploying scalable cloud-based applications. You will play a key role in developing performance attribution functionality within a high-impact, cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to analyze requirements and design robust cloud-based solutions
• Develop, test, and implement performance attribution functionality using AWS and Python
• Deploy and manage AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, and DynamoDB
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews
• Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Contribute to best practices and continuous improvement efforts within the team

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience in AWS cloud development with Python
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services including:
• AWS Lambda
• Amazon ECS (Elastic Container Service)
• Amazon DynamoDB
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and serverless application patterns
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance attribution or financial systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools
• AWS certification(s) a plus
