Job Title: Design Build Pursuit Manager (Preconstruction Leader – Heavy Civil)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

About:

I have partnered with a leading heaving civil construction company serving the Carolinas and other south-eastern states with unmatched expertise. They are looking to expand their Charlotte office and on board a Design Build Pursuit Manager who is an experienced Estimator looking to propel their career.

Responsibilities:

• Guiding the project from RFP through to contract and leading the pursuit of projects valued at $20M - $200M
• Managing questions and responses processes (RFIs, RFCs, etc)
• Develop and maintain pursuit budgeting, cost control and tracking
• Be the point of contact for the owner
• Lead the estimating team
• Write / support proposal development.

Requirements:

• MUST have design build experience in heavy civil.
• MUST have Estimating experience in heavy civil.
• DOT experience is preferred (especially Bridges and Highways)
• Strong communication skills.
