Summary We are seeking a Purchasing/Pricing Assistant with experience in the building materials trade to join our team! The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in Excel, and have a strong understanding of retail and contractor competitive pricing. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and maintaining competitive pricing strategies for retail and contractor sales. Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to ensure optimal pricing. Maintain and update pricing databases in Excel and other internal systems. Provide exceptional customer service, assisting with inquiries related to pricing and product availability. Support the sales team with pricing reports, cost analysis, and margin optimization. Ensure accurate data entry and timely updates to pricing structures. Qualifications: Experience in purchasing and pricing within the building materials industry is preferred. Ability to analyze data and make informed pricing recommendations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
