Responsibilities:

• Lead research, qualification, and purchasing of premium packaging materials for high-end goods
• Attend 1–2 premium packaging trade shows per year and conduct regular market visits (e.g., NYC, Boston)
• Monitor raw material and packaging inventory levels, working cross-functionally with logistics and production teams to prevent stockouts
• Ensure timely reordering based on lead times and demand trends
• Execute all purchasing activities, including placing POs, negotiating with vendors, and tracking deliveries
• Manage spend, with a 50/50 domestic and international sourcing mix. Strong understanding of lead times is critical
• Serve as a key liaison between departments, including production, logistics, and leadership

Candidate Profile:

• Bring 5–7 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role within CPG, ideally with exposure to high-end or specialty food products
• Familiarity with NetSuite
