Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Coordinator located in Port Louis. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, handling purchase orders, and ensuring the timely procurement of necessary materials and services. Daily tasks include analyzing procurement needs, negotiating with suppliers, maintaining relationships with vendors, and ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Purchasing, and Procurement
• Experience in managing Purchase Orders and related documentation
• Excellent Analytical Skills
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in the shipping or logistics industry is advantageous
