We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Buyer to perform a variety of duties that focus on supporting the purchasing process by assisting with supplier management, procurement activities, inventory control and overseeing the warehouse team. This position is instrumental in streamlining our supply chain efficiency and streamlining our overall operation success.
Duties
Build valuable supplier relations by sourcing and evaluating suppliers to establish a strong supply base will full understanding of each suppliers logistics to achieve cost reduction as the primary focus
Participate in supplier negotiations to secure best terms and conditions
Support the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
Monitor and manage inventory control processes to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess.
Collaborate with executive management, as well as other departments to understand their needs and ensure timely delivery of goods for all parties
Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
Oversee supply chain management activities to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Collaborate with production planning teams to forecast demand and adjust purchasing accordingly.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements
Must possess working knowledge of copper & fiber cables and connectivity
At least (1) year experience proven in direct management of small team
Basic comprehension of contract management and procurement regulations
Excellent written & verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Proactive attitude and willingness to grow and learn
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
Proficient in computer fundamentals
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions regarding purchasing strategies.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
