Summary

TL;DR Kharon is seeking a full-time, D.C.-based Account Manager that supports our Public Sector account management and growth. This role requires regular in-office attendance.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive and meet both quarterly and annual revenue goals, with a focus on securing new business, territory planning and renewing existing accounts
  • Keep CRM records current and accurate to support clear and dependable forecasting for leadership
  • Lead the full sales cycle for complex deals, including pricing strategy, negotiation, and contract closure
  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts within your territory, identifying and developing high-potential opportunities
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and share timely insights with leadership to inform strategy
  • Support cross-functional needs and participate in additional initiatives as required


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Academic or professional exposure to global security, international relations, financial crime, compliance, or regulatory environments.
  • 5+ years of experience in a public-sector facing business development, sales, research, or operations roles, preferably in B2B, SaaS, professional services, or financial services.
  • An understanding of OSINT, anti-money laundering, counter threat financing, financial crime, sanctions regimes, and environmental, social and governance standards.
  • Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint (or Google Slides), Excel (or Sheets), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience drafting proposals, pitch decks, and/or sales collateral.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines across teams.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the year.

The On-Target Earnings range for this role at Kharon is set between $135,000 and $170,000 OTE.
