We're seeking an intern to assist our public relations team in handling a variety of writing needs, such as drafting press releases, media advisories, award applications and general copy needs.

Responsibilities:

• Draft press releases, media advisories and award applications as well as tackle other writing assignments, which may include creating commercial scripts
• Assist our public relations team in scheduling networking with publications as well as new clients
• Ensure that our clients material on websites and in publications is both accurate and current
• Organize work and material worth highlight to create a quick reference
• Engage with clients to explore PR needs, as well as promote the services of Oz Marketing

Qualifications:

• Experience: We're primarily seeking college students who are 1-2 years away from earning a degree in Communications or a related field
• Technical Skills: Must be proficient in AP Style with an ability to create journalistic work.
• Creativity: An ability to brainstorm campaign ideas as well as add compelling elements to established campaigns
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Organization: Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns simultaneously
