PR Coordinator (Remote, Toronto-Based)

Full-Time Position

About Fever Pitch

Fever Pitch Marketing Communications is a leading Canadian travel and tourism PR agency. With a dynamic, nimble team based in Toronto and Vancouver, we specialize in strategic media relations, compelling storytelling, and creative campaigns for destination brands. Our work engages top Canadian media and content creators to drive buzz, awareness, and bookings for our clients.

We're currently hiring a PR Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a full-time, work-from-home role—ideal for an ambitious, detail-oriented communicator who is based in the Greater Toronto Area and thrives working independently.

Who You Are

You’re a multi-talented communications professional with a passion for travel and media relations. You can draft a compelling pitch, build a well-researched media list, and create engaging content for Instagram—often in the same day. You know how to pull together a flawless report with clear metrics, smart insights, and beautiful formatting. You love checking things off your to-do list and are energized by a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

Media Relations + Writing

  • Support the team in securing top-tier travel and lifestyle coverage through proactive pitching and follow-ups
  • Research and draft press releases, media pitches, story starters, fact sheets, and Q&As
  • Build targeted media and influencer lists
  • Help plan and support media and influencer events and press trips
  • Monitor coverage, respond to fact-checking, and support reporting

Social Media + Creative

  • Design and schedule social content (IG posts, Reels, Stories, etc.)
  • Assist with content calendars and contribute ideas to campaigns
  • Design media newsletters and client collateral
  • Help develop visuals and proposals for promotions, activations, and special projects

Project + Account Support

  • Participate in internal brainstorms and weekly client calls
  • Help manage timelines, track progress, and ensure all deliverables stay on schedule
  • Contribute to research projects and travel trend tracking
  • Assist with formatting presentations, recap decks, and reports

What We’re Looking For

  • Toronto-based, with ability to attend local events and meetings as required
  • 1–3 years of relevant PR, social media, or communications experience (agency background an asset)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of independence and accountability—you’re comfortable managing your own workload
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, social tools, PR platforms, etc.
  • Strong visual eye for design and social media content
  • Experience with media databases (e.g. Cision, Meltwater) is a bonus
  • Passion for travel, tourism, and media trends in the Canadian market

Nice to Have (but not required):

  • Basic video editing skills (for IG Reels or Stories)
  • French language skills
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools
