**Role and Responsibilities:**
· Implement code editing in the Facets environments.
· Test inpatient claims with the Optum grouper to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Analyze Explanation of Coverage (EOCs), benefit summaries, and Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs) to validate associated configuration in Facets.
· Maintain a thorough understanding of standard claim payment rules for Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and ACA Qualified Health Plans lines of business.
· Configure benefits and pricing within the Facets system.
· Utilize working knowledge of Facets benefits back-end table structure to support configuration tasks.
· Recommend and assist in the development and configuration of new providers and contracts.
· Provide support to internal product teams answering questions related to industry standard codes, providers, and benefits.
· Supply requirements and potential training on the claim adjudication process to internal teams.
· Assist with the provider and benefit file specifications for external 3rd Party Vendors.
**Required Experience** :
· Proven experience with Facets benefit, provider and pricing configuration
· Knowledge of the claim adjudication process and related systems
· Strong healthcare industry knowledge
· Excellent communication skills to provide support to internal teams
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and teams
· Previous experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry
**Salary and Other Compensation:**
Applicants will be accepted till 6/19/2025
The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $99K-$105K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
