Position Summary:
Eliassen Group is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Proposal Lead to oversee the development and execution of proposals and RFP responses that support growth in our clinical service lines. This role is essential in articulating value proposition to healthcare partnerships, and community partners. The Proposal Lead will manage all aspects of the proposal lifecycle, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions that align with organizational strategy, clinical standards, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Client Strategist - building new solutions and designing new products for clinical services for pharmaceutical clients
- Business Development experience - understanding the growth timelines of a new start up as related to clinical trials
- Proposal Development experience - deep understanding of negotiations, presentations, budgeting and storyboards for new client relationships
- Understanding of Patient Recruitment and Engagement
- Understanding of Clinical Trials and RWE as related to therapeutic areas and strategy
- Experience creating business strategy working closely with leaders of business units for decision making
- Seasoned in building, maintaining and enhancing effective internal and external partnerships for the best business growth opportunities
- Experienced working with potential roadblocks and challenges – working as a team to plan for effective resolutions and change
- Comfortable with being an individual contributor for proposal development, as well as being a Team leader with experience in managing and motivating a small team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration, Communications, Public Health, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in proposal management or business development within a health care organization, payer, or clinical services provider.
- Understanding of clinical operations, care delivery models, and reimbursement structures, especially in value-based and retail care settings.
- Excellent project management, writing, and communication skills.
- Experience with proposal management tools (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
