Proposal Manager

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA seeking a Proposal Manager. This is a full-time and hybrid position.

Roles & Responsibilities{​{:}

}
• Lead the end-to-end technical federal proposal development process, including strategy development, content creation, and proposal submissio
n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, technical and proposal writers, and PMs to gather and develop proposal conten
t
• Create proposal outlines, schedules, and compliance matrices to ensure timely submission and adherence to requirement
s
• Manage and review all proposal content, ensuring that it is accurate, compliant, and compellin
g
• Coordinate and lead proposal review meetings and incorporate feedback from stakeholder
s
• Manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet tight deadline
s
• Responsible for hands-on proposal writin
g
• Work closely with the business development team to understand client needs and develop winning proposal strategie
s

s
• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing the full lifecycle of proposal management for federal government contract
s
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, or a related fiel
d
• Strong experience supporting technical proposal effort
s
• Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, such as FAR and DFA
R
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing proposal development project
s
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to include experience with proposal writin
g
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadline
s
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other proposal management tool
s
• Shipley training background required, APMP certification is a plu
