Job Details Job Location: 145 Taylor Basement Office - San Francisco, CA Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $32.00 - $36.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Description Job Title: Property Marketing Administrator Employment Status: Full-Time; Non-exempt Pay Range: $32.00 - $36.00/hour Location: 145 Taylor Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 Schedule: - Monday - Friday; Business hours 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Hybrid 4 Days on-site, 1 day remote SUMMARY Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Compliance, the Compliance Marketing Administrator is primarily responsible for the implementation of marketing plans and waitlist management to ensure equal opportunity in housing for lease-up and existing properties. This role ensures that the waitlists for housing at TNDC are widely published to help ensure fair access to housing. The Compliance Marketing Administrator will design and execute Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plans (AFHMPs) marketing strategies to ensure equal access to housing. This position requires staying informed on changes to fair housing and property waitlist regulations, including federal, state, and local laws, and incorporate those changes into marketing plans as necessary. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Administrative (50%) * Ensure timely execution of marketing plans to open property waitlists. * Implement approved marketing plans by marketing to optimize property applications * Monitor and support the timely processing of vacancy applications from initial submission to move-in for both referral and waitlist applicants. * Verify accuracy of move-in data in Yardi and vacancy reports. * Collaborate with property managers and the Associate Director of Leasing to maintain, update, and stay current with property waitlists. * Coordinate tenant transfers across properties, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and Reasonable Accommodation standards. * Identify and implement new approaches to improve property waitlist processes with a thorough understanding of TNDC's current methodologies, resources, policies, and procedures. * Proactively look for opportunities to support the overall success of the program as needed. * Keep team members informed of updated policies and procedures * Other duties as assigned. Reporting (20%) * Prepare reports for the Associate Director of Compliance to track and analyze the effectiveness of outreach efforts and waitlist management * Create reports to ensure portfolio compliance and make recommendations for adjustments as needed. Stakeholder Engagement (30%) * Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions on key topics, including best practices on fair housing laws, waitlist and vacancy procedures. * Provide training to property managers, leasing staff, and other relevant personnel on fair housing laws, marketing best practices, and the importance of promoting diversity and inclusion in housing. * Optimize marketing plans and property waitlist processes, presenting recommendations to the Leasing, Property Operations, and Compliance teams. * Establish and maintain strong relationships with local Housing Authority staff, as well as Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and MOHCD representatives. * Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agency inquiries related to marketing plans and waitlists. * Uphold professionalism through a positive, cooperative attitude while maintaining confidentiality in client, staff relationships, and work products. Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS Knowledge and skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Ability to create and maintain detailed reports, * Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams. * Collaborative team player. * Effective writing, communication, and organizational skills. * Ability to interface effectively with property management and other staff. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work effectively with diverse populations * Effectively manage multiple projects * Ability to work in an office environment. Physical Requirements: * Ability to coordinate eye-hand movements for word processing tasks. * Ability to perform light physical activities, including walking through buildings, climbing stairs, moving between areas, and standing for short periods. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Urban Planning, Community Development, or a related field. * A minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing, real estate, property management, or compliance, preferably with a focus on fair housing practices. * Strong knowledge of the Fair Housing Act and other relevant federal, state, and local housing regulations. * Familiarity with HUD regulations, Tax Credit programs, and other affordable housing regulatory requirements. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Knowledge of Property Management Software Systems (Yardi) * Prior experience working in affordable housing, nonprofit residential property management.
