About Us

Dagwood Properties is a full-service real estate company providing expert guidance in buying, selling, investing, property management, and high-quality remodeling services. Dagwood Management, our property management branch, serves clients across Central Texas by offering turnkey leasing and maintenance services that protect assets and support long-term real estate investment strategies.

We are investors first, and we manage each property as if it were our own—balancing systems, strategy, and integrity to deliver lasting value for tenants and owners alike.

About the Role

We’re looking for a licensed Property Manager to join our growing team. This person will take the lead on leasing, maintenance coordination, tenant relations, and administrative support for a portfolio of rental properties. You’ll work closely with our assistant and report directly to leadership.

This is a great opportunity for a self-starting, licensed agent who enjoys the operations side of real estate and wants consistent part-time work with flexible hours—and the opportunity to earn commission through real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

Leasing & Property Onboarding

  • Market and show rental listings
  • Screen applicants and approve leases
  • Manage lease renewals and move-in/move-out coordination
  • Onboard new rental properties and tenants

Maintenance Coordination

  • Receive and dispatch maintenance requests
  • Schedule vendors and monitor repairs
  • Oversee inspections (routine & Section 8)
  • Manage vacancy prep (utilities, lawn care, freeze protection, etc.)

Tenant Relations

  • Handle escalated questions and concerns
  • Communicate with professionalism and care

Administrative & Financial Support

  • Oversee rent collection and late fee enforcement
  • Pay vendor and utility bills
  • Assist with monthly disbursements and financial reporting
  • Maintain property records and internal systems (Appfolio & LeadSimple)

Requirements

  • Active real estate license (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of real estate or property management experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with tech (Appfolio, LeadSimple, Google Drive, etc.)

Compensation

  • $Base salary for part-time property management
  • 65% commission on buy/sell/rent transactions
  • Additional referral and lead incentives available
