This management firm is looking for a Property Accountant to assist with maintaining the books for multiple commercial properties. Duties Include:

• Reconciliation of the general ledger and sub-ledgers
• Communicate directly with property managers to prepare budgets and forecasts
• Review cash receipts and invoices for proper coding
• Work with Property Managers to prepare CAM reconciliations and estimates
• Produce monthly/quarterly financial statements and work with property managers to prepare variance reports and analysis
• Collaborate with the Controller to prepare proration schedules
• Accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform cash flow reports
• Input and review lease abstracts
• Assist with payables and reconcile intercompany accounts
• Prepare month-end close
• Work on tax-related issues, loan administration, and construction draws

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or relative experience preferred

At least 3 years of accounting in real estate or property management

Experience with MRI and Yardi preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
