About the Role:

As a Property Accountant, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of a portfolio of commercial properties. You'll be responsible for accurate financial reporting, account reconciliation, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing CAM reconciliations and CAPs tracking
• Expense management. Lease Administration and Account Reconciliations
• Managing accounts payable and receivable
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners
• Contributing to process improvements and financial optimization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in property accounting within retail real estate is required
• Strong understanding of CAM reconciliations and CAPs is required
• Proficiency in Excel and Yardi is needed
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
